The sweetest little girl

This past weekend I had the joy and the pleasure of taking newborn pics for the nicest family. I have been following this family's journey through this last pregnancy as I had taken Little Miss. M's mom's maternity pictures. Let me tell you it was not an easy journey. Mom had many complications and had to be put on bed rest months before her due date. But not just bed rest at home, she had to spend the last month in the hospital on bed rest. I couldn't imagine what that must have been like.  So needless to say, I was thrilled for mom when I heard that baby M was born.

 The trouble for this sweet family didn't stop there though! They had to keep Little Miss M in the hospital for a few days because she was having complications. She was a little premature. Thankfully everything worked itself out and this beauty is home safe and sound. Because she had complications we couldn't take her pictures in the first few days. She is about a month old now! Hence why she is so alert! I love that I was able to capture her in such an alert moment. Look at those gorgeous eyes!

  This picture brings tears to my eyes! What a special time in this family's lives. This little girl is sooooo loved!

 Big brother M is just smitten with his baby sister! He is very camera shy so I wasn't able to get many pictures with him in it but I could tell he was so in love with his new baby.

 I was worried I wouldn't be able to capture the dreamy baby slumber because she was older but Little Miss M was a dream to photograph. She did just what I needed.

I love this picture of Momma, she looks so happy her little girl is finally here!

 Thanks to this wonderful family for letting me capture such a special time in your lives! I had so much fun working with you!!! Little Miss M is a dream!
